Organic Clothing are Safe for Babies

Many people are now following a natural parenting lifestyle. They will participate in baby wearing and will usually only buy their babies natural, eco-friendly and organic products. These types of products are considered to be better for babies, who often have very sensitive skin. Often baby clothes that are made from non-organic fibres have been treated with pesticides and other chemicals to preserve them and make them more durable. The problem is that these unnatural dyes and chemicals are often very bad for babies’ skin, causing sore patches and rashes. By purchasing organic baby clothing made from natural products like silk and cotton, you will prevent your baby from suffering from skin irritation. Organic baby clothing is just as lovely to look at as its alternative, and is very reasonably priced too. You will have peace of mind knowing that the clothing is safe and comfortable for your little one to wear.

The Purpose of Using Cloth Nappies

For decades there has been an argument over whether cloth nappies are better than disposable nappies. Many mothers prefer to use disposable nappies as they can simply throw them away, without having to spend the time washing them; however this has a detrimental effect on the environment. If you think about how many babies there are in the world, and how many nappies are thrown into landfill sites, it is a rather frightening number. Not only are cloth nappies better for the environment but they will also save you money in the long run. It is thought that over the two and a half years that babies wear nappies, a parent will spend an average of £800 on nappies alone. Re-useable nappies are made from natural materials and are less likely to leak, or irritate your child’s skin. They also come in a variety of colours, which adds a touch of fun!
